Head Lifeguard
Direct and manage lifeguard team to protect people's lives on the beach and in the water. Accountable for managing lifeguard duties. Position lifeguard team for maximum safety of people. Schedule lunches, breaks, days off. Lead First Aid and CPR process; determine seriousness of situation and call 911 when necessary. Abide by rules at all times, enforce rules while on duty.
Lifeguard
Be responsible for beach safety, perform rescues, CPR, First Aid as needed. Help swimmers into and out of the water as needed. Pick up trash on beach at beginning and end of shift, sweep store deck including stairs and handicap ramp, attend to trash and recycle barrels, raise and lower flags every day, set out equipment, greet and get to know residents, beach upkeep, call off close boats, tend to medical kits so stocked and available. Be at chairs by 9:45 AM. Lifeguards must be visible in chairs, not seated on beach chairs. Abide by rules at all times, enforce rules while on duty.
Cashier
Ring out customers, inventory control, greet and get to know customers, provide information about the beach to customers, sweep and clean, sort mail, answer phone, accept, verify and put away deliveries, stock shelves, count money, roll coins and wrap dollars, attend to coffee area, tend to trash, Abide by rules at all times, enforce rules while on duty.
